Sr. Mariella Salvato – solemn profession
As Pope Francis says, “God calls for concrete choices, He has a project for everyone. To discover it, to respond to one’s vocation means to walk towards the happy fulfillment of oneself”.
God calls us all to holiness, to live His life, but he has a path for everyone.
I discovered the project that the Lord had for me…
when I entered the Order of the Most Holy Redeemer, the Community of Scala. It was to become a clear and radiant witness of His love for every person. For this reason, on September 11th, on the feast of Blessed Mother Mary Celeste Crostarosa, I made my total offering to Christ the Redeemer by means of my solemn profession.I was very emotional, when I was crossing the threshold of our Church. Every moment was very important for me. I was stressed, but I was happy to have offered myself to God for ever.
The Eucharistic Celebration was presided by our Archbishop Orazio Soricelli Archbishop of Amalfi – Cava de ‘Tirreni. Father Provincial C.Ss.R., Serafino Fiore, the Redemptorists from Scala, the parish priest of my parish of origin and some other priests of the Diocese were present.
The voices of my sisters made the celebration charming and the participation of my parents, relatives and friends who, despite very bad weather, shared this important moment with me.I continue to entrust myself to your prayers and to the maternal help of the Virgin Mary, Mother of Perpetual Help, to be always a “sentinel of love”, according to the Redemptoristine charism.
