you give Me sleep when you are silent in prompt silence at every time, speaking only when necessity alone requires; you sing Me a sweet canticle of love when you are united to My divine joy in your continuous aspirations; you embrace Me tightly when you overcome your weaknesses, indispositions and bodily infirmities to serve Me; you kiss Me with every act of charity you do for Me and for your neighbour; you give Me a mouthful of honey every time you do some act of meekness and humility, either external or internal; and with your confidence, dependence and present diligence you confine Me closely under lock and key in your heart” (M.
