A new icon of Bl. M. Celeste, Kežmarok, Slovakia

Fr. Václav Hypius, CSsR, the Redemptorist Provincial and President of the Conference of Major Religious Superiors of Slovakia, blessed an icon of the Redemptoristine Nuns’ Foundress on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and the anniversary of the death of Bl. Maria Celeste Crostarosa, on 14 September 2019. This icon is on the right-hand side of the monastery church in Kežmarok and was painted by the artist and sculptor Jaroslav Halmo.

Sr. Maria Agostine’s solemn profession in Lviv, Ukraine

Sr. Maria Augustine made her solemn profession in Lviv in the church of St. Josafath, on September 21. Sister joined the Redemptoristines’ community in Bielsko-Biała (Poland) in 2013, made her first profession here in 2016, and on September 21, 2019, she dedicated herself to the Lord forever and took the new name of Maria Augustine. The liturgy was celebrated by the Greek-Catholic Metropolitan of Lviv, Mons.Igor Woźniak, C.Ss.R. Our sisters from Bielsko were present with the prioress, Sr. Urszula Nowińska. Father Darek Paszyński concelebrated the Byzantine Liturgy representing the C.Ss.R. Province of Warsaw.
