Lectio Divina in Dublin

IMG_2122 2Each Saturday evening the community, led by a Sister, leads the ’Lectio Divina’ focusing on the Gospel for the following day. ’Lectio Divina’ is a process of spiritual reading, slow meditative, listening and responding to the Word of God. It is fundamental to the monastic life of prayer, together with the seven hours of prayer time in the monastery.

Scala 2018On January 19 – 23 a meeting of Italian monasteries took place in Scala. There were several conferences given. Fr. Sabatino Majorano, C.Ss.R. spoke on enclosure;
Fr. Provincial Serafino Fiore C.Ss.R. on vocations and vocation ministry; Fr. Andrea Wodka, C.Ss.R. on authority and leadership whose source was Holy Scripture and inspiring community life!
